A trading fee is simple to calculate: multiply the value of your order by the fee rate. The rate depends on the market and on whether your order is a maker or a taker.

Standard rates and examples
These are the rates in Bitget's help center as of November 2, 2026. Your account tier may differ, so check the live fee schedule before you trade. Each example uses a $1,000 order.
| Order | Rate | Fee on $1,000 |
|---|---|---|
| Spot (maker or taker) | 0.1% | $1.00 |
| Futures maker | 0.02% | $0.20 |
| Futures taker | 0.06% | $0.60 |
Leverage changes the fee you feel
Bitget calculates the futures fee on the order value, not on your margin. With $100 of margin at 10x leverage, your position is $1,000. A $0.60 taker fee to open is 0.6% of your margin, and closing costs about the same again.
| Margin | Leverage | Position | Taker fees (open + close) | Share of margin |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $100 | 1x | $100 | $0.12 | 0.12% |
| $100 | 10x | $1,000 | $1.20 | 1.2% |
| $100 | 50x | $5,000 | $6.00 | 6% |
These examples leave out funding payments, spread and slippage, which can matter more than the fee on a position you hold for a long time. The calculator adds fees and funding together:
