Net profit
Profit before fees
Fees (open + close)
Break-even exit price
Estimate for a linear USDT contract with the same fee on open and close, excluding funding. Your real result depends on the fill price and the funding you pay or receive.
How it is calculated
- Quantity = margin × leverage ÷ entry price.
- Profit before fees: long = quantity × (exit − entry), short = quantity × (entry − exit).
- Fees = fee per side × (value at open + value at close).
- ROE = net profit ÷ margin. At 10x, a 1% move in your favour is about 10% ROE before fees, and a 1% move against you takes the same away.
If you hold the position for hours, add funding with the cost calculator, and check where you would be liquidated with the liquidation price calculator.
This is general information, not financial advice. Leveraged trading carries a risk of losing your whole margin. No exchange is available in every country.
